Reading/Language Arts/Science - 60 minutes -Use Notability to upload and read the Physics4Kids article on Motion article. Then highlight a sentence or phrase that defines or explains each of the vocabulary words that are bolded in the article.
-Complete the Zipline Lab (This is attached to Day 1 lessons.) Religion - 20 minutes Do one of the following activities below. 1. Do a chore around your house that helps your parents without being asked. 2. Call a grandparent or family friend that you know may be lonely or need cheering up. Letting others know you care about them is a great way to show our love of others! 3. Make a card, cookies, or something of your choice for family friend that you know may be lonely or need cheering up. 4. Read some of the Gospels and discuss what you read with your parent.
Social Studies - 20 minutes -Watch Rosa Parks video on Edpuzzle. When you click on the video link, you will need to login to your Google account. (The code for the video is evujise.)
Math - 20 Minutes -Watch THIS video of a mini-lesson on area. The song is full of corny jokes and cats, so some of you should really like it! -Using a measuring tape, measure the length and width of your bedroom, bed and dresser to the nearest whole foot. -Draw the outline of your room and the dresser on a sheet of graph paper. When you are drawing, use a straight edge or ruler. Each square on the graph paper will represent one foot, which means if your room is 12 feet wide, you will draw a line that is 12 squares wide on you graph paper. (The bed and dresser should be drawn inside of the perimeter of your bedroom drawing. Try to draw it about where it actually is in your bedroom.) -Complete the Area and Perimeter Sheet that is in the day one lessons. -Record the length and width of your bedroom, bed and dresser on to the Area and Perimeter Sheet. -Then calculate the area and perimeter of each item and record that on the Area/Perimeter Sheet.
